DARKEST LEGAL TINT laws in Queensland
- Front doors (driver and passenger) – 35% VLT (Visual Light Transmittance)
- Behind the B-pillar (rear doors and back window) – 20% VLT
- Commercial vehicles can be as dark as you want behind the driver

Stripping old film:
- Rear window: $60
- All other panels: $10 each
Tinting prices:
“Classic” – Carbon/Ceramic:
- Rear window: $90
- Opening windows: $45 each
- Non-opening windows and small panels: $35 each
“Elite” – IR Ceramic:
- Rear window: $120
- Opening windows: $60 each
- Non-opening windows and small panels: $45 each
For example, a sedan with 4 electric windows, plus 2 small fixed panels and the rear window comes to $340 with the Classic tint (or $450 with the Elite tint) plus $120 if it has existing film to be stripped.
Please note: Some vehicles may cost more depending on difficulty.
