After more than 20 years working for other companies, I have recently started building Rusty’s Window Tinting as an independent business.

I grew up in a musical family and have always enjoyed playing piano and singing. On the weekends, I can often be found at a local club, entertaining the patrons. For the last 10 years, I have also been involved with tribute shows, including tributes to The Eagles, The Bee Gees and ABBA. I toured internationally for a few years, but settled down again after my daughter was born.

My window tinting experience started back in 1986 when I was employed by a small business on a trial basis and trained in car, home and office tinting. My employer was pleased that I enjoyed window tinting and had the patience to develop the skills. I was later offered work as a subcontractor to a bigger company, installing domestic and commercial window films and signage. That’s when I registered the business name Rusty’s Window Tinting.

I continued for many years as a window film installer for other businesses on a casual or subcontract basis. Then in 2017 I started to promote my own business, mainly focusing on home window tinting in the Moreton Bay area.

In between building my business and making time for family, I also continue my music, doing regular gigs and occasional tours with bands.
