• A soft cloth or microfiber cloth are recommended.
  • You can also spray and wipe using water with a small amount of dishwashing liquid.
  • Never use Windex or other ammonia based glass cleaners as they will slowly damage the film, causing it to look frosted.
  • You can also use methylated spirits to clean off stubborn dirt or marks, but use it sparingly and don’t let it dribble to the bottom of the film.
  • The good news is that the scratch proof surface of window film is smoother than glass and in general it will take longer to get dirty.
  • After installation, try not to touch the film for the first few weeks as it needs time for the glue to dry.
  • You may notice slight bumps or ripples in the surface of the film. This is normal and will gradually smooth out as it dries.
  • You can open and close sliding windows and doors but be careful not to catch the edge of the film in the first few days.
